Hi! I’m so glad you’re here and want to know a little more about me.
I'm Ismail Muktar, a multifaceted professional passionate about leveraging my skills in data analysis, research, blogging, and graphic design to contribute positively to Somalia and the world. I hold a bachelor's degree in statistics and planning from Mogadishu University, and my career has been marked by a commitment to excellence and a passion for making a positive impact.
My journey includes valuable experience as a researcher at the Institute for Research and Data Analytics, where I actively contributed to various programs. Notably, I was part of the EU-funded Dalbile Project under UNFPA Somalia, focused on improving youth empowerment and reducing unemployment in Somalia. Throughout this work, I have been involved in a number of initiatives to promote youth empowerment and economic recovery in Somalia
I am also a member of the Global Shapers Community, especially the Mogadishu Hub, a network of young leaders who are committed to making a positive impact on Somalia and the world.
My enthusiasm extends to addressing social challenges through innovation, and data driven solution. I firmly believe in the power of technology and data-driven approaches to shape a better future for everyone.
